About the Journal

Latin American Psychology is an open-access virtual journal that publishes psychology works produced in Latin America or with Latin American populations. It publishes empirical and review studies from various fields of psychology with the aim of disseminating Latin American research, making it accessible not only to academic circles in the region but also to non-Spanish-speaking researchers. Accepted manuscripts are published in the language of submission (Spanish or Portuguese) and English.

Every submitted article goes through a peer review process. Accepted articles are published virtually throughout the year, and volumes are compiled at the end of each year.

This journal publishes issues on a rolling basis. Each issue is opened at the beginning of its publication period, and articles are added progressively as soon as they complete the editorial and production process. All published articles are final, receive a DOI, and are immediately available for citation and indexing. This model ensures rapid dissemination of research while maintaining the issue-based structure of the journal.
